company?
ISO/TS 16949 Is Adopted In Our Company.

How do I know What is the correct air pressure for my tyres?
You need to refer to the Vehicle Manufacturers’ handbook to know the correct air pressure for your tyres. Always maintain the correct air pressure so that your tyre stays in perfect condition. Do not forget to check inflation when tyres are cold, and use a good quality tyre gauge. |
|
Is it mandatory to get the rotation of tyres regularly?
Rotating the tyres nullifies the uneven wear developed in a tyre due to vehicle mechanical conditions, road camber, driving habits etc. Rotate the tyres as per the guidelines given by tyre manufacturers. |
|
How often should I get my tyres rotated ?
Rotate your tyres at least once in 5000 kms. Regular tyre rotation promotes uniform wearing of all the tyres of the vehicle. Directional tread design tyres should remain on the same side of the vehicle and be rotated straight forward and straight back.
In a four-wheel vehicle, it is recommended that both pairs of tyres are crossed to their new axle positions. Check your vehicle owner's manual for the manufacturer's rotation recommendations, and also adjust inflation pressures accordingly. |
|
Why do my tyres wear out only in the centre?
It is likely that your tyre is over-inflated. This could be leading to wearing out in the centre. Take your vehicle to a service centre and get the air pressure in your tyres corrected. |
|
|
Is it advisable to fit a higher sized tyre than the original fitment?
No. Upsizing of tyres reduces the fuel efficiency of your vehicle. Tyres should always be replaced with the same size designation or as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. |
|
Can I use combination of radial and cross ply construction tyres on the same vehicle?
Yes, you can. However, the cross ply and radial tyres should not be fitted in the same axle. The two cross ply tyres should be fitted together, and the two radial tyres should be fitted together. |
|
How frequently should I check the air pressure of my tyres?
You should check the air pressure of your tyres at least once in 10 days and before any long trip or if traveling with a heavy load. Check pressure in cold condition only i.e. before you start your journey. |
|
Is it mandatory to always use new tubes with new tyres?
Yes! Old tubes in new tyres may drastically reduce the life of the tyre. Always use the designated tube for the particular type and size of tyre being used. |
|
Can I retread my tyre?
Yes, tyres can be retreaded if the casing is in a good condition. |
How do I know when I should get my tyres retreaded?
When the tread wear reaches the tread wear indicator level, you should get your tyre retreaded. |
How do I choose the right tyres for my vehicle ?
Choose your tyres depending on their application. Different patterns are available for different applications. |
What should I do if I see one-sided wear on my tyres?
Get your tyres checked at a reputed service centre for a possible misalignment. You can also rotate your tyres. |
|
Where should I take my vehicle for servicing?
Always take your vehicle to known and reputed service centres. |
What do we mean by a directional tyre?
The rear tyres of some motorcycles and tractors are directional i.e. the direction of rotation is marked on the tyre’s sidewall. In such cases, the tyres must be fitted in the indicated direction. |
How often should I get my wheel alignment done?
Proper alignment is necessary for even tread wear and precise steering. It is advised to do a wheel alignment whenever you have your tyres changed or when the wheel assembly has been removed and refitted. You should also get your wheels aligned if you see one-sided wear on the tyre. A vehicle is said to be properly aligned when all suspension and steering components are sound and when the tyre and wheel assemblies are running straight. |
Can I fit a tubeless radial and tube-type radial tyres on the same vehicle?
Yes, but preferably on a different axle and in pairs. |
